About GL Visitor Choice Awards

We are now rewarding businesses for excellent customer reviews. Businesses receive a certificate to display in their property and a logo displayed on their website entries.

There are 2 levels of certification; Gold and Silver and they are based on the numbers of reviews the property has received and the overall score given by their customers.

Guestlink review and award businesses every 6 months and logos displayed on the websites are updated automatically to ensure customers can see the current level of certification.

What does each award mean?

GL Gold Visitor Choice Award
The accommodation owner has received an average review score above 4.8* and has had at least 10 reviews in the last 6 months. The reviews are informative and previous guests have highly recommended the property.
GL Silver Visitor Choice Award
The accommodation owner has received an average review score from 4* - 4.8* and have had at least 10 reviews in the last 6 months. The reviews are of high quality and previous guests recommend the property.

How are reviews collected?

Guestlink send an email 7 days after a booking has taken place to the customer with a questionnaire attached to be completed. The questions included cover all aspects of the customers experience and require an overall rating for the stay.

The Guestlink reviews system is a closed system which means reviews are only available from real customers who have stayed with the business.

How do I sign up?

You can sign up for Guestlink + Products online through your Guestlink account. You will need to login and navigate to My Guestlink > Online Signup.


You will need to complete a Direct Debit sign up first so we can collect any commissions/annual fees. When you sign up using Direct Debit you have a 14 day cooling off period before any money is collected.
